This Section deals with the organization of the School: its ruling, academic and internal control bodies; its administrative facilities; the persons working in the different offices and managing the technical and administrative activities supporting institutional business.

The School organization and operation, which are based on principles of functional decentralization, have a "star-shaped configuration" with a central core and a series of external poles and centres able to represent integrated and autonomous units for research, education and the transfer of results.

Therefore, the School is organized around a central administration (Director's Office, Deanery and Administrative Management), with operational service structures supporting education and research activities (Departments), and detached education units (CEIIC - Centre of Excellence and Polo Sant'Anna Valdera) oriented towards the pursuit of specific projects.
