Post-Graduate Courses
Starting from the 2009 – 2010 Academic Year, the Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna di Pisa has added Post-Graduate Courses (Corsi di Laurea Magistrale) to its didactic offer in collaboration with other Italian and foreign Universities, in compliance with its Charter (art. 6, paragraph 1, letter b).
Those new didactic initiatives are aimed at enhancing the peculiar status of Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna di Pisa by envisaging different approaches to implement educational projects and flexibly meet the needs of the various Sectors of the Scuola within the Italian and international Academic world.
Post-Graduate Courses are organised according to the following distinctive features:
- Highly-specialising educational projects characterised by markedly interdisciplinary, international and/or innovative approaches
- Courses taught exclusively in English to address the international demand;
- Strict selection of students through access tests aimed at ensuring the quality of applicants in line with the criteria of excellence characterising the Scuola;
- Avant-garde didactic programmes aimed at integrating and enhancing the competences and experiences of all Universities involved and training innovative professional profiles.
The educational offer of the Scuola is complemented by Graduate Programmes, i.e. educational programmes implemented in collaboration with prestigious Italian and foreign universities, inspired by the institutional tradition of the courses provided by the Scuola, envisaging excellence, remarkable didactic workloads and mandatory attendance.
At the end of the course of study, a double diploma is issued: Laurea Magistrale and Diploma della Scuola Superiore Sant'Anna.
